ASET Center is a non-profit organization founded in 2014. We have a long history of success and commitment to improving the lives of local and regional communities, focusing on humanism, dedication, and professionalism.
As part of our strategy to create lasting impact, we have built a strong network of international and local partners. These partnerships help us expand our activities and learn from the best national and international experiences. Our partners include the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Tirana County Council, Tirana Municipality, Shkodra Municipality, SOS
Children’s Villages Albania, AMSHC, UNDP, UNICEF, Save the Children, Terre des Hommes, IADSA, Regione Liguria, and Regione Marche.
Leader in Social Policy Development and Implementation: ASET Center aims to build a fairer and more equal society. We offer our experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring policies that address social challenges like inequality, poverty, education, health, and the well-being of vulnerable groups. We work with partners like Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the State Social Service, UNDP, Tirana County Council, and others.
Promoter of Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Heritage: We embrace sustainable development principles and contribute to promoting our region’s cultural and natural heritage. ASET Center engages local communities to create a shared responsibility for protecting and developing these assets, partnering with projects in Tirana Municipality and the National Youth Congress.
Children’s Rights: ASET Center continuously contributes to educating children to increase their involvement and activism in protecting their rights and participating in decision-making. We support alternative care services by raising public awareness to ensure quality services for children without parental care, working with partners like AMSHC, Save the Children, SOS Children’s Villages Albania, and local municipalities.
Professional Training: ASET Center has extensive experience in training, especially in the health and social sectors, improving the professional skills of social workers, doctors, psychologists, nurses, and others. One important initiative has been training family doctors and staff involved in disability assessment according to the biopsychosocial model. All our training programs are accredited and developed in partnership with Ministry of Health and Social Protection, UNICEF, and UNFPA.
Health: ASET Center is committed to improving public health quality and ensuring equal access to healthcare for all citizens, regardless of location or economic status. We offer various programs covering a wide range of services, from disease prevention to ongoing care, supported by the Agency for Civil Society Support and UNICEF.
Rural Development: ASET Center consistently contributes to empowering local communities by involving them directly in the tourism value chain. We promote the rich history, cultural heritage, natural beauty, and traditions of central Albania and the Tirana area, in partnership with Tirana Municipality.
MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions): ASET Center plays a key role in developing the MICE industry by actively organizing successful events, including conferences, workshops, and exhibitions. We have created a platform that supports innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among various stakeholders.
Notable events include promoting the Religious Guide at the symposium “Religious Coexistence – Tradition and Culture” and an exhibition in central Tirana, part of “100-Year Capital – Between Cuisine & Ethnography” project. We also organized anational forum with UNICEF to strengthen regional and central connections inimplementing the biopsychosocial assessment.
